A Bilingual Nature Based Program

“Oh won’t you join our Mesa?”

Bienvenidos a La Mesa! La Mesa means “The Table” in Spanish. Here we are a family, everyone is welcome to our Mesa.

  • “Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment”

    -Maria Montessori

“We want to raise our children so they can take a sense of pleasure in both their own heritage and the diversity of others.”

- Fred Rogers

La Mesa is a Spanish immersive nature based program inspired by hints of Waldorf and Reggio approach. La Mesa is a whole child focus program serving the Arlington/Lex area who strive to provide enriching opportunities for young children to play, learn, and blossom using all of their senses. We hope to help raise a beautiful generation that focuses on kindness, not only to themselves but to those near and far as well as the borrowed land our earth provides.

Here we believe diversity is beautiful. We praise community, teamwork, and kindness. We love our neighbors and believe a meal is always better when shared with others.

Who We are

meet eunice

Hola soy Eunice! I was born in El Salvador but raised most of my life  in Cambridge, MA. I enjoy visiting new cities, good food,  and  anything that allows me to use my creative side. I love to help others grow and get ahead. I also love learning new languages and getting to know different cultures. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have been working with children for the last twelve years.

I have two children of my own and have worked with children from birth through highschool years from diverse backgrounds. I have experience from private to public school, as well as co-teaching integrated special Ed.

My passion is children, I love to see them grow, play, laugh, and just being themselves. I don't mind getting down and messy, for the sake of making meaningful learning experiences.

As a pedagogue and a mom I understand the importance of high quality early education as it sets a solid foundation for life long learning. My hope is to make a difference in the lives of my students by embracing each personality, encouraging them to explore and discover new things each day. I aspire to continue creating engaging activities and building those valuable experiences for my students. I feel honored to be a part of your child’s shaping and growth.
